Not only that your texts should be the concern of nobody else than the translator and yourself - you should also be sure that the translation conveys the same content and context to a target language reader as a reader of the source text would get in the source language. This requires professionalism and great experience in both languages.

Especially in the fields of finance and information technology, I have acquired said experience by working many years in various positions in these sectors. Adding thereto is the experience from more than 30 years working as a translator of commercial and legal documents of any kind: contracts, agreements, correspondence, specifications, manuals, user guides, annual accounts and reports, market reports & analyses, asset management reports and various other documents.

You already have a translation, e.g. done by a member of your own staff, and you want to have that translations revised by a professional in the target language prior to publishing it? Then have the translation proof-read by me - this is also part of the services offered by me.

For the translation of editable text documents, worksheets or presentations, I use the computer-aided translation (CAT) tool memoQ. The benefit to you is that this tool produces a dedicated reusable translation memory (TM) and that you and me together are able to set up a term base (TB) of terms specifically used in your company. Both translation mamory and term base ensure that individual phrasings will always be consistent also in other documents to be translated subsequently.

Any texts not available to you in the form of editable documents may result in certain extra efforts. Files in PDF format may be converted by me into editable text documents, subject to certain limitations. Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss any options available.

All other texts to be translated, whether in paper form or by telecopy, will be provided to you either electronically as a Word document, by telecopy, or as paper printout according to your requirements.
